my father is a veteran with out any va disabilities but has parkinson dementia beginning of severe stage and needs nursing home care in Pa.What are the financial regulation and is there a waiting list.

I am looking for VA contracted nursing homes in Kentucky and can not seem to locate a listing and repeated phone calls for assistance from the VA center have gone unanswered. if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. thank you

my father in law was in world war 2 servered in the marines 20 years, worked at the post office 30 years.the V. A. nursing home in alabama denied his aplication because he had too much assets , that doesn’t seem right to me. Anyone got any suggestions
