Answers to Your Most Frequently Asked VA Loan Questions

We recently read an article that reports that only a very small portion of Veterans are using their VA loan benefits. According to the research done by iFreedom Direct, less than 10% of veterans are taking advantage of the benefits they have earned. Even more surprising is that according to the VA, veterans are five times more likely to own a home. Perhaps part of the reason for this disconnect is due to the fact that many veterans may not be aware of their eligibility or have questions that may seem to intimidating to research. To that end, we found a series of recently published informational videos designed to help provide easier access to some of the most frequently asked VA loan questions.

Hopefully these videos give everyone an opportunity to further understand the answers to some of their questions regarding credit history, eligibility, rates, fees and so on. There is a lot of information out there and it can be overwhelming. Certainly, there are other sources for this information, but for our intents and purposes it seemed easier to reference one comprehensive source.

The videos cover a variety of issues designed to help breakdown as much information as possible including the following:

VA Eligibility

VA Loan Limits and Qualifying

VA Loan Rates

VA Loan Assumption

Bad Credit Issues

VA Loan Fees

VA Debt Consolidation

VA Loan Entitlement

How a VA Loan Affects Other VA Benefits

VA vs. FHA

There are 33 videos in total. Specifically, if you have ever wondered why the Department of Veterans Affairs and certain VA lenders seem to have different requirements, there is a video for that. Maybe you want to know how getting a veterans home loan might affect your other benefits like pension and health care? There is a video for that as well. We hope that these videos will help answer your questions and provide you with a good starting point if you are considering using your VA loan benefits.

If you or your loved ones have any questions not addressed in these VA mortgage FAQ videos please feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to find more answers for you!
